Classic Seattle landmark. In business since 1854!

This weather is killing me.
For a second day, record heat gripped the Bay Area on Thursday, sending temperatures soaring to new heights in San Francisco, Oakland, Mountain View and Monterey.
The National Weather Service said that the soaring heat shattered previous records set in many local cities during a similar sweltering period in 1976. San Francisco’s mercury rose to 97 — eclipsing the 89 set in 1976. Oakland rose to 99 to top the 92 set in 1956. Mountain View broke the century mark to better the 97 in 1976 and Monterey was a toasty 95 — six degrees better than the 89 of the 1976 heat wave.
